A little black dress can always be counted on to deliver a best-dressed look with zero effort.

This summer I’ve relied on the LBD as my daily uniform. Nothing ground breaking at all. We all know how easy the little black dress can be. It goes with everything an is the basis for effortlessly chic dressing. I love them because they’re always the solution when I feel I have nothing to wear.

The key for me in the summer months is to pile on all the color I can. A floral jacket and some neon emojis never fail 🙂 Luckily I live in Brooklyn, NY where matching isn’t required. Anything goes as long as…..nevermind, this is NYC…..ANYTHING goes.

The Lawrences

Pick accessories that pop! Mixing high and low fashion is my gift. Know when to splurge and when to save.  My beautiful rose quartz necklace from the Brooklyn Flea Market was a splurge, but I’ll keep it forever. The bag was a  $15 find from Century 21 Department  Store. No need to spend on a trend that may or may not last another season.

I replaced the beat up Converse I’ve been wearing for years with these Karl Lagerfeld flats for a more sophisticated look for summer. Comfy and chic, always!
